We have already experimented with sensory deprivation before, whether that was audio/music-focused or through the use of blindfolds. We haven’t tried combining these techniques, though.
With that in mind, today’s instructions are all about removing multiple senses at once. In particular, removing your hearing and sight. Sensory deprivation is often associated with BDSM and general submission but can be enjoyed by all. The key to sensory deprivation is understanding that removing certain senses makes other sensations more intense – it allows your mind to focus more on touch and in turn, the pleasure throughout your play.
As blindfolds make it difficult to read instructions, this will not be a step-by-step guide.
Rules and Information:
- You can orgasm at any time. This is not about control.
- You will need a blindfold. Clothes or scarves can work as makeshift blindfolds. Try to make sure that the room is dark and the material is thick to reduce the light seeping through.
- You will need headphones. Over-ear, noise-cancelling headphones are perfect but anything will do. If you can still hear things whilst wearing your headphones, consider choosing some relaxing, instrumental music (here is a relaxing music radio on YouTube but you can pick whatever you like, as long as there are no lyrics and the sounds fade into the background).
- Read all of the instructions before you begin. The blindfold will stop you from being able to read your instructions during play, so, read them all first.
- Use toys! If you have them, use them.

- Put on your headphones (with music if you’d like) and your blindfold.
