26th February 2021 – Aphrodisiacs

So, we’ve all heard about aphrodisiacs and in truth, there’s not a huge amount of evidence to suggest that aphrodisiacs work how we think they do. Whilst it’s true that certain foods can improve blood flow to specific areas of the body and support arousal, there’s isn’t much to say that anything we consume is directly responsible for when and why we get turned on.

That said, everyone is different and if we’re being honest, it’s hard to condense something as complicated as ‘getting turned on’ into clear-cut science. With this in mind, we’re going to spend today’s play session seeing if aphrodisiacs have an impact on us.

The rules are simple. An hour before you play, eat one of the listed food or drink below. Then, see how it impacts your mood! Afterwards, masturbate however you choose and enjoy yourself. You might find it has no effect or you might discover something surprising, it’s all about exploration.

Rules and Information:

  • You can orgasm at any time. This is not about orgasm control, it’s about exploration.

  • You must eat one or more of the following foods and drinks an hour before you play:
    – Chocolate
    – Oysters
    – Strawberries
    – Figs
    – Watermelon
    – Red wine (it’s a Friday! Plus, this is the only item on the list that scientists have found has a very loose direct connection to arousal – sadly, alcohol has a negative impact on sexual performance so don’t get carried away)
    – Chillies
    – Celery
    – Asparagus

  • Use your favourite techniques and toys. Play in whatever way you prefer.

Instructions:

  1. Eat or drink your aphrodisiac of choice.

  2. Wait an hour or two and make a note of whether you’re feeling a little more in the mood than you were before.

  3. Play and orgasm.
